Gatchalian, chairman of the Senate energy committee, said yesterday he does not see the upcoming May 13 elections being disrupted or bothered by power brownouts. Gatchalian conceded that power supply before and immediately after the elections are thin and can potentially cause brownouts. These are Pagbilao, South Luzon Thermal Energy Corporation, Calaca, SCPC, and Southwest Luzon Power Generation Corporation. Gatchalian made light of the bleak power situation by saying that the only solution is ‘’that we start to pray.’’
