The chief minister said that Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) chief Raj Thackeray and Producers Guild Association held talks to resolve the controversy surrounding the film's release. When asked about the tussle between MNS and the film fraternity, Fadnavis stated that the government is not weak and no one will be allowed to take law in their hands.
