The prosecution filed a Motion to Issue Warrant of Arrest dated November 18, which stated that a warrant of arrest should be issued against them in light of the court’s denial of their demurrers to evidence. In denying their demurrers, the prosecution said that the court found that the evidence of their guilt is strong. If uncontroverted, the prosecution said Valdez and Napoles would be found guilty beyond reasonable doubt. On August 28, 2019 the anti-graft court denied the demurrers to evidence of Valdez and Napoles.
