A tree has collapsed on a road just outside of Centre Bush in Southland. A police spokeswoman said police attended the scene in Ivy Lane, Kauana, 17km north of Winton, earlier this morning. No injuries had been reported. A Southland District Council spokeswoman said contractors were on site clearing the tree late this morning.
