By JOSEPH OPENDAMore by this AuthorThe High Court in Nakuru has barred a suspect in the murder of a Rift Valley Institute lecturer from visiting his home for the holidays. Mr Godfrey Kangogo is accused of killing Ms Irene Jepchumba on July 6 at Kiamunyi in Rongai Sub-county. Mr Kangogo claimed she fell off the cliff at Choka Falls while taking a selfie but the family contested this. In August, State Counsel Amos Chigiti said they were investigating the possibility that the lecturer was raped before she was killed. The hearing is yet kick off as the State and the accused's lawyers have been making applications for various orders.
