KUALA LUMPUR: The producer of gay festival has denied that the event will be held in Malaysia on Sept 30, as claimed by certain parties. A representative of Cloud 9 Inc, the producer of White Party Bangkok, Blue Satittammanoon said the festival would only be held in Bangkok, Thailand and not in other countries. “Cloud 9 holds the White Party franchise in Asia and has no intention of bringing the event to Malaysia. “There is no White Party festival as claimed in the press in any part of Malaysia on Sept 30, or any (other) time, ” he said in an email today. News on the purported gay gathering here has spread on certain messaging apps and other online sites over the past few days.
