The national and county governments should hasten the delivery of free education funds to public schools. This term’s funds were released last week, almost a month after opening day, and will take a long time to reach schools. The schools need money for development and running expenses. Headteachers should ensure the money is spent appropriately and for the benefit of all pupils.
