The All India Institute of Medical Science (AIIMS), New Delhi, has conducted a study on individuals who tested Covid-19 positive after vaccination and revealed that there was no fatality. The study was conducted during April-May when the second wave of the pandemic was at its peak. Out of the 63 individuals — 41 male, 22 female —enrolled in the study, 10 individuals were administered Covishield, while 53 received Covaxin. 36 people were administered two doses, and 27 individuals received at least one dose of either Covid-19 vaccine. Cases of infection in vaccinated individuals have also been reported in the US.
