No cake, no entry: 1,600 cakes (and their bakers) served up at Melbourne Cake Picnic – video

To take part in Cake Picnic, bakers must observe a number of rules. Cakes must be a minimum of 20cm wide and 7.5cm tall. Only cakes are allowed: no cupcakes, no babkas, no madeleines. And the most important rule: no cake, no entry. Guardian Australia's Matilda Boseley brings her cake along to witness a spread of 1,600 cakes at Melbourne's Cake Picnic
