HÀ NỘI — The Anti-Dumping Commission of Australia (ADC) decided not to apply anti-dumping duties on wind towers imported from Việt Nam, 60 days after it began investigating the alleged dumping of goods. This was stated by the Việt Nam Competition Authority under the Ministry of Industry and Trade. In a report issued early this week, the ADC said it has not made a preliminary affirmative determination (PAD) against the wind towers exported to Australia from Việt Nam. The ADC is currently examining information provided by two Australian firms that imported goods from Việt Nam during the investigation period and the only co-operating exporter -- CS Wind Việt Nam -- from Việt Nam. Wind towers imported from Việt Nam currently have import duty of 5 per cent in Australia.
