Tourism Minister Lindiwe Sisulu has made misleading claims, including that only three tourists have died in the country since democracy. Sisulu made these remarks on Wednesday during a press briefing following the murder of a 67-year-old German tourist in Mpumalanga. The tourist was with his wife and two friends when their car was suddenly barricaded by the assailants' car during an attempted hijacking about 800 metres from the Kruger National Park's Numbi entrance.
