PUTRAJAYA: The Foreign Ministry has confirmed that no Malaysians were affected in the terror attack at a mosque in Egypt on Friday which killed at least 235 people. In a statement today, Wisma Putra advised Malaysians residing around the area to remain vigilant at all times and abide by the instructions of the authorities there. "The ministry through the Malaysian Embassy in Cairo will continue to monitor the developments related to the incident. Wisma Putra also expressed that the Malaysian government strongly condemns the attack on Al Rawdah Mosque in Al Radwa village located between Bir Al Abed and Al Arish cities in North Sinai. "The government also extended its deepest condolences to the government and the people of the Egypt, especially to the families and victims affected by the attack.
