No Hong Kong topic was discussed in the NPCSC meeting, says delegate

Hong Kong's sole delegate to the NPC standing committee Tam Yiu-chungNo topic related to Hong Kong was discussed in the meeting of Standing Committee of the National People's Congress which closed today, said the Hong Kong delegate Tam Yiu-chung. But Tam, who is Hong Kong's sole delegate to the NPC standing committee said the meeting did not discuss topic related to the SAR. He believed the earlier report was because some people in Hong Kong are dissatisfied with the performance of district councillors, and hoped that the NPCSC can deal with the problem. Tam said before the ‘two sessions’ open in March next year, the NPCSC will have another regular meeting in February but it is unknown that whether the Hong Kong topic will be on the agenda. The suggestion was raised in a draft decision approved at a Chairperson's Council meeting of the 13th CPPCC National Committee earlier this week.
