18 Baylor defeat 12th-ranked Arizona 63-58 in a nonconference game Saturday in Waco, Texas. Arizona, which entered ranked fourth in the nation in 3-point percentage (42.9), went 2 of 18 from beyond the arc. The Wildcats had possession with 18.9 seconds left coming out of a timeout, and Nico Mannion made a short jumper with 11 seconds left to cut the lead to 60-58. Arizona had a chance to tie but Josh Green’s 3-pointer banged off the rim with 5 seconds left. Butler, who scored 13 points on 3-of-12 shooting, followed with two free throws with 0.8 seconds left to secure the win.
