It's been over a year since Nivin Pauly's Njandukalude Naattil Oridavela (NNOI) started filming, under debutant director Althaf. The family consists of his parents played by Lal and Santhikrishna, his twin sister (Srindha), her husband (Siju Wilson) and younger sister (Ahaana Krishna). Nivin as Kurian has no air of stariness but rather gels well with the subject and the role. Lal complements him well and it's a smashing return to comedic form for the veteran.Siju Wilson, Santhikrishna and Saiju Kurup also carry off the performances well. But it's definitely the humour that stands out.The second half should deal with how the family tackles with their situation positively, and promises more fun.
