India aiming for all-electric car fleet by 2030, petrol and diesel to be tanked India is looking at having an all-electric car fleet by 2030 with an express objective of lowering the fuel import bill and running cost of vehicles. Power minister Piyush Goyal has said that the government and NITI Aayog are working on a policy for promotion of electric vehicles. Electric cars zipping around India: Just a dream or almost reality?
