In his new role, he reports to Yutaka Sanada, regional senior vice president for Nissan Asia & Oceania, and Mark Stout, corporate vice president, Nissan Global Human Resources. Woollard, an Australian, will be responsible for development of talent acquisition and people advancement across the Asia & Oceania region, to maximise Nissan's overall performance. Prior to this new position, he was leading the Talent Management, Acquisition and Learning and Development teams in Nissan Europe, based in Paris. He also brings with him a deep knowledge of the Asia & Oceania region, as HR director for Nissan Australia and New Zealand, and prior to that held HR leadership positions in China, Taiwan and Thailand during his tenure at Ford, Asia-Pacific and Africa. Woollard has been at Nissan for six years.
