KUALA LUMPUR: An accident involving multiple vehicles including a lorry was reported on the Kuala Lumpur-Karak Highway (KLK) at around 9.30am on Saturday (Jan 29). Anih Bhd, the concessionaire for Kuala Lumpur-Karak Highway (KLK) confirmed that the accident at KM4 on the eastbound lane of the expressway involving nine vehicles, caused traffic congestion from Gombak for almost two hours. The crash also caused a 20.5km congestion from MRR2 to Bukit Tinggi. Meanwhile, according to @ LPTTrafik Twitter, as of 12.05pm, a crawl was reported from MRR2 to Gombak toll plaza towards Kuantan from KM22.3 to KM43.1 following the increase in vehicles. The public is advised to be careful and always monitor the traffic situation through developments on the official social media of LPT for further developments.
