The arrests were announced at the juvenile and women’s welfare division of the Metropolitan Police Bureau by its deputy commissioner, Pol Maj-General Panurat Lakboon. Panurat said the teenagers were arrested at 5.30am Friday when patrol police of the juvenile division arrived at a police flat building in Tha Raeng sub-district in Bang Khen district. The teens were taken to the juvenile division for questioning. During interrogation, the boys admitted they had stolen more than 20 motorcycles. Panurat said the boys were handed over to their parents, and would face charges in court at a later date.
