Seven people died on the spot while two succumbed to injuries as they were being attended to at Eldama Ravine Hospital during the Sunday morning accident. Scores of those injured were rushed to Eldama Ravine and Molo Referal Hospitals in Koibatek and Molo sub counties. Eldama Ravine Hospital confirmed having received 74 injured, among them five children and two students who were heading home for their half term break. Nakuru County Police Commander Stephen Matu said the bodies were taken to Molo sub county hospital mortuary. "We are yet to get the official number of survivors since others were rushed to the hospital by good Samaritans.
