PESHAWAR: At least nine people have been killed and 37 others injured in a firing incident that targetted the hostel of Agriculture Directorate on University Road, Peshawar, early Friday morning. After shooting the guard present at the gate, the terrorists went on to the hostel of the building and began firing. Inter-Services Public Relations informed that two soldiers who were injured during the attack have been shifted to Combined Military Hospital for treatment. The hostel of the directorate was officially closed on Friday as the country observes Eid Miladun Nabi. All roads leading to the area have been cordoned off as the operation went underway.
