Obayedul Khan was arrested in the northern district's Domra Upazila on Wednesday. Nilphamari district’s Additional Superintendent of Police Firoz Kabir said Dulal Hussain spotted Obayed loitering about at the Upazila's Sonara market about 7.30 in the morning and informed police. “Later a police team from Domra along with RAB personnel went to the spot, arrested and brought him over to the police station,” said the police officer. A Dhaka Metropolitan Police team led by Additional Deputy Commissioner HM Azimul Haque has set out for the capital with the suspect. After arresting Obayed, the Domra police and the local RAB unit held a joint press briefing.
