Nikki Haley, the U.S. ambassador to the United Nations, on Sunday said that more sanctions against Russia are coming this week, as early as Monday. The remark came in a parenthical phrase during an interview on Fox News Sunday, as Haley blamed Russia for strains in its relationship with the United States. Russia has vetoed at least six resolutions in the United Nations Security Council regarding chemical weapons.
