The Regina Pats upset one of the WHL’s better teams Sunday, registering a 6-3 victory over the Everett Silvertips. Regina improved its record to 13-22-3-2, which is good for 19th overall in the 22-team league. Nikita Sedov had a career-high four points — all the result of assists — for the Pats, who got 36 saves from Donovan Buskey. Zack Smith, Carson Denomie, Riley Krane, Drew Englot, Robbie Holmes and Austin Pratt (with an empty-netter) scored for Regina. Regina is to resume its swing through the U.S. Division on Tuesday, 9 p.m., against the Portland Winterhawks.
