Back in 2016, Under Armour made a major swoop when it was announced that the Maryland-based apparel company would be replacing Majestic as the official uniform and apparel supplier for Major League Baseball in time for the 2020 season. Then, the deal was pushed up to 2019 -- only to be pushed back to the 2020 season after an announcement back in April. As it turns out, Under Armour won't be taking on the uniform supplier duties for MLB in 2019 or 2020. Ever since the sports leagues decided to go to league-wide apparel deals, there have been times where one supplier was involved with two leagues. So it would not be a shock to see Nike give the Swoosh logo prominent placement on baseball uniforms by the time the 2020 season rolls around.
