In fact, the first Friday of April is regarded as Walk to Work Day as a form of encouragement. But don’t we all walk to work in Nigeria? Only the Adenugas, Dantatas, Otedolas and Dangotes are allowed to walk to work. It is the only ‘unofficial holiday’ Nigerians ‘celebrate’ because their bank account insists they must. It is not that we don’t want to walk to work, a lot of us simply don’t have the luxury to drive to work.
