GettyNigerian multi-millionaire oil tycoon Prince Arthur Eze has donated $500,000 to Nwafor Orizu College of Education Nsugbe (NOCEN), a Nigerian tertiary institution located in Anambra State, for the construction of a student hostel within the campus. Of the $500,000 he donated, Prince Eze $350,000 will be earmarked for building a new student hostel, while $150,000 will be used to create a feeding programme to ensure that destitute students at the school have access to food. Prince Eze, 71, is one of Nigeria’s most prominent businessmen and philanthropists. His company, Oranto Petroleum, is one of Africa’s largest privately owned exploration and production companies. The company owns 22 oil and gas licenses in 11 jurisdictions, including producing assets in Nigeria and Equatorial Guinea.
