The Ministry of Interior of Government of National Unity has announced the deportation of a group of illegal Nigerian migrants via Mitiga International Airport. This comes within the framework of the national programme to address the issue of illegal immigration, after the completion of all legal and humanitarian procedures, according to a statement issued by the ministry on its Facebook page on Thursday. The ministry reaffirmed the continuation of deportations as part of a comprehensive plan aimed at reducing the flow of migrants through Libyan territory, thus ensuring the preservation of security and stability within the country.
