Lokoja — The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) in Kogi State yesterday said it confiscated 1083.62 kilogrammes of cannabis sativa worth N6.5 million from a police inspector and 10 other suspects. NDLEA Commander in the state, Alhaji Idris Mohammed Bello, who paraded the suspects in Lokoja, said the agency nabbed a police, Abale Zagi an indigene of Kaduna State, who had been using a police bus to convey cannabis sativa from the western states to the north. He also paraded one Corporal Umar Shehu of Nigeria Army who took to drugs business after he was dismissed from service for his refusal to honour his transfer to the Northeast to fight insurgency.
