According to the research by the FSDH Merchant Bank on ‘Final judgment on performance of the Nigerian economy: Implications’, it said this was an indication of growing poverty. The FSDH research noted that ahead of the presidential election, the NBS released its final judgment on the performance of the Nigerian economy in 2018. It said the report containing the judgment showed that the Nigerian economy had continued to recover.
