Enyioha Opara, MinnaThe Nkangbe community in Minna, Niger State, was thrown into mourning on Tuesday when fire claimed the lives of a woman and her three children. The woman, Fati, and her three children were said to have been trapped in the fire. One of the residents, Musa Ibrahim, said that the state fire service was called immediately the fire started. He said, “The fire was intense, but with the help of the fire service men, we rescued a woman through the window. The state Police Public Relations Officer, Wasiu Abiodun, confirmed the incident, saying a woman and her three children died in the fire.
