Niger State Government has commended the Federal Government over its tremendous assistance and support, to curtail the resurgence of armed banditry challenges and the recent Boko Haram elements illegal activities in the State. In the last 48 hours, we have received a lot of support with regards to security agents from the Federal Government; I believe they are mobilizing themselves. Governor Abubakar Bello explained that some of the recently displaced persons have returned to their ancestral homes while others have been relocated close to their homes. He expressed hope that with the special prayers and all the measures taken so far by the government, insecurity issues will end soon.
