Nigel Farage boasts he'd be 'very useful' as he demands new Ambassador to Trump

The Brexit Party leader - who has coveted the job of ambassador before - spoke out after the UK's current envoy Sir Kim Darroch was caught up in a leaked cables storm. In leaked private cables from summer 2017 Sir Kim said "President Trump radiates insecurity", branding his White House "inept" and said he could face "disgrace and downfall". Mr Farage today said the UK must find a new Ambassador to replace Sir Kim and said he'd be "very useful". Back in 2016 Trump claimed Mr Farage would do a "great job" as Ambassador - and quizzed today, the Brexit Party leader initially refused to rule out taking the job if it's offered to him. Speaking as he boarded Air Force One last night, President Trump said Sir Kim had "not served the UK well, I can tell you that".
