This exhibition by Nicole Giesa presents a personal journey captured through photographs, highlighting the paradox of increasing loneliness in an ever-connected world. Since 2021, Giesa has used the LONESOME ASTRONAUT series to depict themes of perception versus reality, belonging versus isolation, and intimacy versus distance. Selected works from this series will be on display at Oberpollinger, showcasing a blend of everyday observation and subtle metaphor. The iconic astronaut also served as the narrative conclusion for the exhibition "Metaphor to Metamorphosis" at Galerie König in Kunstkraftwerk Bergson.
