Former Arsenal striker Nicklas Bendtner has announced his retirement from football at the age of 33. The Denmark international, who also spent time at Birmingham City, Sunderland and Nottingham Forest, scored 113 goals over a 16-year professional career. Bendtner left Arsenal to join Wolfsburg on a permanent deal in 2014 and spent two years with the club, winning the German Cup in 2015, before returning to English football with Nottingham Forest.
