NEW YORK—Nickelodeon is breaking ties with the creator of some of its top shows, including Henry Danger and iCarly. Some of his other hits include Drake & Josh, Victorious, All That and Kenan & Kel. These shows have helped launch the careers of stars including Ariana Grande, Amanda Bynes, Kenan Thompson, Victoria Justice, Miranda Cosgrove and others. In a joint statement, Nickelodeon, Schneider — once a cast member in ABC ’80s sitcom Head of the Class — and his production company, Schneider’s Bakery, agreed it “is a natural time” to pursue other opportunities and projects because several Schneider’s Bakery projects are wrapping up. The decision followed conversations “about next directions and future opportunities.”Henry Danger airs on YTV in Canada.
