Some clients of a weight loss program are going public after they say they lost more than weight, they're out money as well, after joining something called the Weight Loss Grants Program. David Stein, a spokesperon for the Weight Loss Grants program, said in an email that Matweow will get her refund in "mid-May." The Weight Loss Grants Program told Go Public in an email that it "no longer wish[es] to serve candidates in the weight loss community," but will "honor all legitimate grant requests." On its website, it said it won't take weight loss grants clients anymore either "in light of the recent media coverage."
