Next stop Milan for Cork’s top modelA CORK model has swopped the catwalks of New York for the runways of Milan for the next few weeks. Clara McSweeney from Kilmurry, near Macroom, arrived in Milan on Sunday to take part in a number of fashion assignments with international agency Next. The 20-year-old debuted her New York career in October 2015, by treading the catwalk for Bridal Fashion Week in a pink gown by renowned designer Naeem Khan. She got involved in modelling after her mum asked if she would like to do a boot camp with Irish model Andrea Roche’s agency in Dublin. She has juggled school and modelling for the past three years.
