Sean Jones, 29, told Dyfed-Powys Police that cocaine was more than likely in his system after taking the Class A drug two days earlier after they pulled him over near the Newtown fast food restaurant. RECOMMENDED READING:Welshpool Magistrates' Court heard that the Newtown man's eyes were glazed and his pupil enlarged having admitted smoking cannabis during the early hours. Jones, of Camlad House, Treowen, was handed a 12-month community order which includes 20 activity days after pleading guilty to two counts of drug driving. He was also ordered to pay the court £279 in fines, costs and surcharges.
