Television channel NEWS24, an initiative of the country’s leading industrial conglomerate Bashundhara Group, steps into the 8th year of its inception. A colourful programme has been organised to mark the founding anniversary of the TV channel on the premises of the East West Media Group Ltd (EWMGL), in the capital on Sunday. Rahul Raha, executive editor of the NEWS24, presided over the event. Besides, Daily Sun Editor-in-Chief Enamul Hoque Chowdhury, Kaler Kantho Editor-in-Chief Imdadul Haque Milan, Bangladesh Pratidin Editor Naem Nizam, Daily Sun Editor Md Rezaul Karim, banglanews24.com Editor Jewel Mazhar, Kaler Kantho Editor Shahed Muhammad Ali, among others, attended the programme. NEWS24 began its operation on July 27, 2016, as an electronic broadcasting media under the East West Media Group Limited owned by Bashundhara Group.
