News in briefTop German tour operators are already focusing on next summer and adding more capacity for the autumn holidays. Customers can now book summer 2018 holidays with TUI, Thomas Cook and DER Touristik. Thomas Cook, which started taking bookings for summer 2018 for 21 short-haul destinations a fortnight ago, has now added most of its long-haul holidays programme for next summer as well. A total of 17 destinations in the Caribbean, Asia and South Africa offered by Neckermann Reisen, Thomas Cook Signature and Thomas Cook Signature Finest Selection can now be booked. The tour operator is accepting bookings for 300 hotels in short-haul destinations along with many long-haul destinations.
