The federation said that they have entered into negotiations with Brazilian coach Marcos Pacita to benefit from his previous experience and knowledge of the Libyan football team. Pacita led the Libyan team in the qualifiers of the African Cup of Nations in Equatorial Guinea and Gabon in 2012, and achieved good results during that period. Al-Mansouri said that Salim Al-Qarbadi and Abdullah Al-Qaba'ili were killed in the clashes in Dahr Al-Ahmar region, southwest of the city.
