The mayor of Abu Salim municipality in Tripoli, Abdelrahman Al-Hamdi, has slammed Libyan Channel’s stance and “far-fetched” coverage of the Thursday-Friday clashes that took place in the district. ____________________Al-Burki and Ganiewa armed brigades announced late on Friday a tentative ceasefire deal in Abu Salim neighborhood following 2 days of heavy fighting. ____________________The National Guard (NG) deplored on Friday the heavy clashes in densely populated areas in Abu Salim neighborhood of Tripoli. Al-Jali was arrested on counts of treason along with 4 others from Martuba town, 27 km to Derna’s south. ___________________Al-Thanni-chaired eastern government’s Local Governing Ministry dismissed the elected mayor of Derna to replace him, as per decree No.09 for 2017, with Ehmid Fadlallah Trabeh and a deputy mayor, Abdelmonem Abdelrahman.
