News: OFC says political failure, civil war and economic crisis vicious circle haunting Ethiopia, calls for cessation of hostilities, genuine national dialogue
As we speak today, a civil war is raging in all parts of Oromia hidden from the eyes of the world. Political failure, the civil war and the economic crisis in Ethiopia are directly inextricably related. Genuine National Dialogue is the only solution to save our countryOur problems are numerous and complex. We call on them to stop trying to control both the process and outcome of the national dialogue and to open the political space. National dialogue cannot be conducted in the middle of a civil war.
