Steve Curnew on Monday after receiving information he had breached a condition of an emergency protection order. ST. JOHN’S, N.L.— A Newfoundland police constable has been accused of breaching an emergency protection order. Boland says the details of the protection order are private and further details will not be provided. The province’s provincial court says an emergency protection order is granted by a judge in “urgent situations to provide immediate protection when family violence has occurred.”
