Newcomer Campbell expected in Rush lineup Saturday

The Saskatchewan Rush swung a National Lacrosse League trade on Monday, picking up a veteran defender for a couple of draft picks. Saskatchewan, which lost three defenders during the off-season, acquired Scott Campbell from the Rochester Knighthawks for a 2022 second-round draft pick, and a conditional second-round pick in the 2021 draft. Campbell is a 15-year NLL veteran who currently has four goals and three assists in seven games with Rochester. Last season, he scored six goals and 20 points while picking up 80 loose balls. Campbell is expected to play Saturday, when the Rush host the Buffalo Bandits at SaskTel Centre.
