After discussions between head coach Steve Bruce and managing director Lee Charnley, the Magpies will offer 10,000 half-season tickets for free to existing season ticket holders. This follows the Brighton match earlier in the season which had set an eight-year low attendance for a game in the top flight. A half-season ticket includes 10 home Premier League games, starting with the visit of Everton on Saturday December 28, and matches against Chelsea, Tottenham and Liverpool. "We need St James' Park full again."
