There’s more to People’s Postcode Lottery than knocking on doors. PPL has raised millions - £500m to be exact - for 7,500 charities and good causes, thanks to the support from its players. This funding has transformed lives and communities in the UK and beyond, including Newcastle United Foundation, which is part of Newcastle United Football Club and takes the club into the community. Since 2018, the foundation has received £250,000 and this has helped to fund the United Futures programme. It has been a busy year as the programme includes seven areas, all reaching unique audiences.
