Police sent an emergency team from the Wichaivej Omnoi to rescue the baby. A passerby motorcyclist, Chommanart Waithanomsak, 39, was holding the baby when the rescuers and police arrived. The baby girl was wrapped in a pink towel. She was not crying but apparently hungry and was trying to feed from the breast of the Good Samaritan. The baby was rushed to the Vichaivej Omnoi Hospital.
