The JU student who gave birth to the child is currently under treatment at hospital and is in a stable condition, confirmed Hall Provost Prof Mujibur Rahman. “The hall authority is looking after her treatment and her parents are also with her now,” Prof Mujibur said. Students of the hall said the girl gave birth to the child Saturday afternoon. She gave birth on her own, but later her fellow peers realized what had happened and informed the hall authorities.
